Using your personal photographs of your family, weddings, dogs, homes, lost loved ones, etc and learn how to add them to a painting.
We will paint a simple landscape on a 12x16” canvas, cut around the subjects, laminate your photos and later artist Katie will add resin on top of the entire thing to create a one of the kind portrait. Ready for pick up a week later (Also the perfect gift for the holiday season coming up!)
To simplify, you can send your jpeg photo(s) to katiethemessyartist@gmail.com and she will print, cut out the subject, and laminate before the class to give you maximum time for painting.
Wear clothes you can get messy in, acrylic doesn’t come out. Aprons will be provided.
Photos must fit in 8.5x11” lamination sheets
Bring your favorite snack or drink to enjoy during breaks
Some experience with painting is suggested but novices are welcome!
Reservations and payment for workshops are required to participate. Refundable up to 48hrs before the class, otherwise refunds will not be available.
